Born in Quebec City, Canada, I moved to Montreal when I was 18 years old to attend Concordia University where I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (major in Cinema). I then started my career as a lighting designer and technician. I did a bit of freelance work but spent most of my time in Montreal working for a company called CORPAV, where I was in charge of the lighting department. In 1997, I joined Cirque du Soleil and toured with Quidam in North America for two years. I then participated in the creation of another production called "Dralion". After 2500 performances of Dralion, I am now on a year-long leave of absence, during which I plan to realize tons of exciting new projects!
Photography is another of my main interests. I took my first pictures when I was 14 years old and quickly developed (no pun intended) a passion for photographing dance. You can see some of the results in my gallery section. I also love travelling. It is always a pleasure to discover new places, new people, new traditions. I have travelled through 45 of the 50 United States and am now familar with a large part of Western Europe. I have two sisters, both younger than I am. One of them works in the publishing industry and the other one dances with the National Ballet of Canada.
