The night before Nyree arrived, I attended the Janet Jackson concert at the Fleet Center. What a show! I had seen Janet on stage three years ago (the "Velvet Rope" tour) while my own tour (Quidam) was down in Virginia and had been fascinated by the energy coming out of her performance. This year's show was not a disappointment either.

The set kept transforming itself and was a lot of fun. Musically, she went back and forth between older songs and more recent ones. After the show, I went to her web site to look for the design credits for the tour but they were not listed. The only mention that was made during the show was that Janet co-directed it with one of her dancers. But then, I can understand that the average Janet Jackson fan is probably more interested in downloading wallpapers and videoclips than learning anything about who created all that...
