Dallas flew by pretty quickly. I enjoyed the city a lot more this time around than when I was there with the QUIDAM tour. The apartment was better, the weather was better. There were some changes in the cast and I really enjoyed getting to know some of those new people who started arriving in Dallas. Before I knew it, it was already time to pack up and leave for the Christmas break. I went up to Quebec City for the Holidays. I had not been there (or seen my family for that matter!) in two years so it was time for me to go.
Since we were "homeless" during the break and I had a lot of things to bring back to Quebec City, I decided to drive up there rather than take the plane. I also was not too thrilled to spend two weeks in the snow and liked the idea of being able to escape early if I felt the need to. It sounded like a good idea at first but it turned out to be more exhausting than I had expected. 5300 miles... On my way back, I managed to pass through the only three states in the central part of the country where I had never been before (Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma). Which means I have now visited 44 out of the 50 states. I will have added at least one more by the end of this year (Washington).
